“Tiburon Baptist Church is a family of faith in Jesus Christ committed to vital worship and personal devotion that finds expression in ministry and missions."
Thanks for finding us on the web and we hope you will visit us in person very soon. It is our sincere prayer that you will encounter the living God in a personal way. Understanding what it means to be a follower of Jesus is the first step in that encounter. We make no apology for maintaining our focus on the risen Christ and the authoritative Word of God. If we can assist your faith journey, do not hesitate to contact us. We look forward to your worshiping with us. You are welcome at any of our services, studies or events. Let us know if you need more information. We would appreciate the opportunity to grow together with you in love and service to Jesus Christ.
May God Richly Bless You,
John Shouse, Lead Pastor
The annual Thanksgiving service and Harvest Dinner will be on Sunday, November 23rd. The Thanksgiving service will begin at 5 pm and will be followed by our dinner. Find your bowling shirt, shoes, bag, and ball and head to Country Club Bowl in San Rafael on Wednesday, Nov 26th at 7 pm for our annual Turkey Bowl (or just rent the shoes and ball when you get there). This youth event has morphed into a church-wide fellowship event where families of all ages come together for an evening of fun, conversation, gutter balls, and an occasional strike. Plan to join us even if you don't plan to bowl. See Tyler Sanders for more details. And remember that there will be no activities at the church building that night.
Our ladies will gather on Saturday, December 6th, from 2 - 4 pm in various homes around the county for their annual Christmas Teas. This is the perfect opportunity to invite a friend. Sign-ups in the Gallery will begin Nov 23rd.
We will gather on Sunday, December 7th, at 5 pm for the annual Christmas Festival featuring all of our children's music programs. This is the seasonal culmination to much hard work and preparation for our children & youth as they tell the Christmas story, On Our Way to Bethlehem. It is a great time to bring friends and family as we rehearse the story of God's Son coming as an infant into the world. We hope you will join us.
The annual Christmas Musical celebration will be on Sunday, December 14th. Our adult choir, drama team, children's choir and professional orchestra will share The First Noel, a musical drama, in two performances at 4 pm and again at 6 pm. Our children's choir will be featured at the beginning of both performances. There will be a festive reception with holiday treats following the 6 pm performance. Make your plans now and invite friends and family to this holiday experience.
Join us on December 24th for one of our annual Christmas Eve services. At 5 pm, we will gather with families with younger children in a family friendly celebration for the Christ child. At 7 pm, we will celebrate Christmas with our traditional candlelight service. We hope you will join us for one of these services as we once again tell the ancient story of Jesus.
